Santa Cookie Plate & Hot Cocoa Mugs
What a fun craft and keepsake. We used dollar store plates and mugs to make this easy craft. Place your favorite cookies for Santa on these fun plates or, make our yummy Santa Chimney treats. You can personalize them by adding your family name with permanent markers too.
What you'll need:
-
One white Dollar Store plate and mugs
-
Santa Plate and mug printout
-
Mod Podge
-
Foam brush
-
Scissors
-
Optional: Permanent Sharpie Markers
How to make it:
-
Print out your Santa pattern and cut away the excess paper. Depending on the size of plate you get at the Dollar store you may want to enlarge or shrink your Santa image.
-
Once you have your image cut out, use Mod Podge to coat the back of the image and then smooth the image onto the plate. Smooth out any air bubbles. Let the image dry. When your image is dry, coat the front with 2 or 3 coats of Mod Podge letting each coat dry before applying the next.
-
If you want to personalize your plate using Sharpie markers, draw onto the plate and then cover your drawings with one layer of Mod Podge.
